London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026
Team DEBRA Scotland
My Story
DEBRA Ambassador Scott Brown, alongside DEBRA event manager Karen Power (Team DEBRA Scotland!), are coming together to take on the London Landmarks Half Marathon Challenge - all in aid of Epidermolysis bullosa (EB), also known as butterfly skin.
EB is a rare genetic condition that makes skin so fragile it can blister or tear from the slightest touch. It causes constant pain, open wounds, and unbearable itching -and right now, there is no cure.
What makes this challenge even more special is that DEBRA brings two sides together. In a city where football rivalry often divides, Celtic and Rangers supporters are uniting (Scott Brown and DEBRA Vice President Graeme Souness) for something far bigger than the game - raising vital funds to help families living with EB.
But with your support, there is hope.
Your donation will help fund vital clinical trials to find effective treatments for every type of EB. You’ll also be helping to provide life-changing care and support to those affected - making everyday life a little more manageable for children, adults, and families living with this devastating condition.
Together, across colours, clubs, and communities, we can bring comfort, hope, and a future with better treatments for everyone living with EB.
